Week 0 is designed to help coaches effectively evaluate players across key skills like communication, mechanics, and game sense during scrimmages or in-house matches. This structured approach ensures you build balanced, long-term teams by selecting players who complement each other’s strengths and grow together.

Week 1 sets the stage for the season by encouraging players to build a strong communication foundation through basic calls and teamwork. This week focuses on fostering a growth mindset, clear goal-setting, and productive feedback to maximize the value of every practice session.

Week 2 builds on the team’s communication foundation by assigning key roles like Target Caller, In-Game Leader, and Ult Tracker. This week focuses on accountability and role flexibility to sharpen strategic decision-making and improve in-game coordination.

Week 3 introduces the three core composition styles—Brawl, Dive, and Poke—highlighting their unique strengths, weaknesses, and target priorities. This week helps teams understand how hero selection shapes playstyle and encourages practicing each comp to find their natural fit.

Week 4 focuses on understanding and adapting the three primary playstyles—Brawl, Dive, and Poke—teaching teams that composition alone doesn’t dictate playstyle. Players learn to adjust their approach based on enemy comps, using heroes flexibly to best support team strategies and secure success.

Week 5 emphasizes mastering pre-fight positioning and tempo, teaching teams how to control the pace of engagements based on their playstyle and fight plan. Players learn to leverage corners, choke points, and natural cover to set up advantageous fights and coordinate effectively around their tank’s positioning.

Week 6 builds on pre-fight positioning by focusing on coordinated midfight movement, teaching teams how to rotate, flip, kite, stabilize, clear, and stuff key map areas together. This week emphasizes synchronized decision-making and communication to maintain team cohesion and adapt dynamically during fights.

Week 7 encourages players to develop self-awareness by reviewing their own gameplay, focusing on strategic ability usage, perk selection, and positioning to better fulfill their team roles. This week promotes critical self-assessment and thoughtful reflection to enhance individual contributions within the team’s overall strategy.

Week 8 focuses on building your team’s flexibility by mastering hero bans and counter picks, teaching players how to make smart individual swaps to maintain core strategies without disrupting overall team play. This week emphasizes adapting to enemy bans and matchups through targeted adjustments, keeping your team’s game plan strong and consistent.

Week 9 sharpens your team’s ability to prioritize the right targets during fights, ensuring players understand when and who to focus for maximum impact without unnecessary risk. This week reinforces smart target selection and coordination to execute strategies effectively and secure key eliminations.

Week 10 helps your team refine fight plans by identifying both their own and the enemy’s win conditions—key actions and strategies that determine victory. Players learn to analyze playstyle, heroes, abilities, and ultimates to anticipate and counter opponents effectively.

Week 11 focuses on mastering ultimate economy by teaching your team how to balance ultimate usage across fights and map control. Players learn to categorize ultimates by purpose—engagement, win condition, negation, and tempo—and to make smarter, coordinated decisions that preserve resources and maximize impact.

Week 12 shifts focus to playoffs by emphasizing refinement over new strategies. Coaches should empower players to lead practices and reviews, encouraging them to sharpen existing communication and playstyles. Introducing performance scrims simulates competitive intensity, helping the team polish execution and build discipline while maintaining focus on proven strengths.
